An E-Mail from Mom

Subject: Update and a thank you

Dear Ms. Diana,

We wanted to let you know that <name removed> is doing so well, and we have you to thank. She will turn 7 in April, is a straight-A student in first grade who excels at spelling and reading, and is confidently riding a bike with a handbrake and without training wheels. All things she would have struggled to do without her therapy sessions at TLS.

She is like a different child. She runs laps around the 1/4-mile track at school at P.E., stacks cups (which is really fun to watch), and is learning to hula hoop. She now takes ballet twice a week, and still dreams of dancing in the Nutcracker at Bass Hall in a couple of years. We will keep you posted on that one. Her balance is significantly improved and we are working on her core strength still.

Emotionally, she is a normal 6-7 year old. We don't have nearly as many problems adjusting to new situations. We are so grateful for all you taught us, and how much you helped us understand her issues. I hope to be able to bring her to visit one of these days.

Thank you again!

Warm regards,
Mom

It is E-Mail like the one from this Mom that inspires us to keep going. Thanks for the kind words and letting us know that she is doing well.
