Our therapy listening program supports the child’s sensory processing, social communication, and emotional regulation in your home, at school and in the community. These are the most critical settings that parents encounter daily with their child.
This individualized designed therapy program links sensory integration with active parent intervention. Parents can observe how treatment strategies are implemented in the clinic and in the home environments with and without therapy equipment. This collaboration between occupational therapy and parents turns everyday play sessions between children and their loved ones into relationship building skills and positive behaviors without taking the fun out of being together.
Integrated strategies are provided to assist children of any age in developing essential skills for regulation and social interactions. Children lacking the developmental foundations of effective sensory motor integration can learn to develop play strategies that support the development of positive behavior, self-awareness and relationship building with other children.
Therapeutic strategies are designed to support functional performance and the development of gross and fine motor skills by visual and auditory methods including the Interactive Metronome and Integrated Listening Systems.
